The days where nearing closer to the end of summer, a chill breeze could already be felt through the air everything Sofie stepped out. She gave a short sigh as she heard the maid give a timid knock on her door telling her that he mother was waiting for her at the fireplace, they were to go buy new school supplies.

Fun....not.

Giving one last look at the mirror, she pulled a long sweater on over her outfit, knowing that her mother would make her wear a sweater.

Frowning and brushing the soot off of herself, Sofie managed to get away from her mother who wanted her to go to Madam Malkin's for more dresses. Instead the young girl walked off into the crowd promising her mom that she would meet up her there in an hour or two. She left Diagon Alley to explore the muggle world, finding a small book shop on the corner of the street. She walked in hesitantly and saw all the people walking around -- muggles, no doubt.

"Let's see," she said muttering to herself as her eyes scanned over the books for the one book that she wanted.

Was it against the standards of witch and wizards to be curious? Stormy spent her entire life in the world of magic and dreams. She had never known what it was like to be in this world, the world of norm. Stormy stepped out into the busy street, muggles rushed past her and Stormy just watched her eyes following different pairs of individuals. "Huh-" Was the only noise that escaped her breath before she turned and joined the crowd it its rush down the walkway. Her hand dug into the jean pockets located just below her hips and Stormy walked slowly taking in the strange new world.

Books, that something she could associate with. Entering the small tacky shop Stormy looked around, as if lost. All the shelves were covered in books, neatly, which seemed odd to her. Books were a place of escape, why organize that. "Strange world-" She said as approached a shelf and read the titles of books. "Idiots guide to Math." She laughed, loudly, the sing song melody carrying its away across the entire shop. Stormy looked over her shoulder feeling on her guard. She could feel her wand pressed up against her skin right at her hip, at least she knew she was safe, magic was of course on her side.
