LESSON ONE !
Professor Fitz danced around the room gracefully, making sure all her plants were watered and the sun was shining brightly through the windows. It was a beautiful and sunny day for the first day of classes and Arianna was in a very cheery mood. She had her lesson plan in a manila folder on her desk at the front of the room and had placed a 'welcome back' note on all the students' desks with a licorice wand for each student. She flitted around still, making adjustments to things and trying to make everything look welcoming and happy. She liked it when her students were comfortable with her from day one - especially the first years.
Arianna walked over to her desk and sat down, opening the manila folder to look through the lesson before everyone arrived. The bell had just rung to get to class and she waited patiently for students to file in and take their seats. Today's lesson would be fun, she hoped, and Professor Fitz was excited to be teaching after summer break. It really was one of her favorite things to do and she loved kids - one of the many reasons why she'd become Headmistress of Hogwarts.

Sofie looked herself up and down in the mirror, making sure her robes were in place and her hufflepuff insignia was showing. She fixed a stray strand of hair from covering her eyes and gathered her book bag. She looked down at her schedule that had been given to her this morning and saw that she had Charms as her first lesson of the day. Sofie smiled to herself, she had always liked Charms quite a bit.
Making sure she had her wand tucked safely in her pocket, Sofie ascended the staircase from the Hufflepuff common room. She made her way up to the third floor where the Charms classroom was. Sofie talked and walked with a few of her friends along the way, happy to see them but not happy that none of them seemed to have the same class as her. She entered the classroom and saw she was the only one here, sitting down and getting out some paper. [/blockquote]

Aiden woke up late again, as usual. She missed breakfast because she had to hurry to get ready for class. Running down the corridor to the classroom, she didn't care that her school uniform was dissheveled and messy. Aiden was more concerned with getting to class on time than looking good. She ran around the corner, almost knocking right into one of the suits of armor on her way. She continued running, ignoring the angry yells from the armor.
Finally, Aiden reached the classroom. She stopped outside the door to fix her clothing, making sure everything was in place, and then proceeded to try and tidy her hair. It was a long run from the dungeon to the third floor, especially on an empty stomach. Aiden sighed as she finally decided that she was presentable and walked into class, only seeing one other student there. Ignoring the hufflepuff, Aiden walked over to her desk and sat down, getting out some paper and a quill for the days lesson.

mandy paige brocklehurst Mandy yawned climbing through the Slytherin portrate hole. One of the worst classes for the morning happend to be Charms and whitch happend to be the exact class she was going to. The portrait swang back into place as Mandy started to walk up, and up to the third floor. Great this is going to be fun, yet another class I most sertanly will fail. That was true, Ravenclaws seemed to be the only ones that did pass. Her cousin had be a one, but that wasn't so bad. He had been the only Ravenclaw in the hole family, all the rest, you guessed it, Slytherin. Honestly, Mandy had hoped to get into another house then Slyth, to be origanal. Her mother had been a muggle, no hope of house diversity there.
Mandy rounded the corner, hardly anyone was out today. Most of them were probably in there classes by now. Normally there hardly was a place in Hogwarts where you weren't pinned against the wall because of crowded halls. Nautrally Mandy had woken up a bit later then she probably should have, she thought. Mandy was never sure if she had woken up to early or to late. It had to be one of those though, no one was in the halls. Hoping this time that she hadn't missed class, Mandy entered the carms classroom. She set her mailcarrior bag next to a deck that was right next to Aiden and got out quil and ink ready to write.
Mandy was happy that there was another Slytherin here. Last class she had been with a Hufflepuff who thought it was absolutly halarious to do tricks with his nose. Even if the teacher thinks that there should be assigned seats, Mandy would find a way around that for sure. She tapped her quil against her paper hoping that class would maybe begin.
